Jamie Miller
Certified Public Accountant
Jamie Miller is a Spruce Pine native who received his Bachelor ‘s Degree in Accounting and Business Management from Western Carolina University in May, 2001. He is married to the former Jennifer Ray of Marion. They are the proud parents of two sons, Brody and Bryce. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs as well as the North Carolina Association of CPAs. He also possesses a life insurance license.
Jamie is an active member of Bear Creek Baptist Church, and is active in several other organizations in the community. Jamie played football at WCU, where he was a four-year letterman. He enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and is a huge Tar Heels fan.

Erica Burleson
Client Service Representative
Erica Burleson is the Client Service Representative of of our Spruce Pine office. She is a member of the American Association of Medical Assistants who received an Associate degree in Medical Assisting in 2007. While working as a Certified Medical Assistant she became a multi-skilled practitioner, gaining experience in handling both administrative and clinical duties. She has 13 years of experience in public services. While at Jamie M. Miller, CPA, PLLC she has handled payroll and income tax preparation and general bookkeeping services.
She is married to Dustin Burleson and they reside in Spruce Pine. They have to two sons, Maddox and Jaxton.

Danny Willis
Client Services Representative
Danny Willis is a graduate of the University of North Carolina – Asheville with a B.A. degree in Economics of Money and Banking. He has worked for Baxter Healthcare for over 37 years in the areas of manufacturing, finance as a controller and a Business Consultant for manufacturing systems. He has been the project lead for the global manufacturing ERP implementations for Baxter manufacturing facilities for the last four years. Danny served on the McDowell County Board of Education for 12 years and 6 of those years as Chairman of the Board. He retired as a volunteer fireman from the Marion Fire Department with over 22 years of service. He is a member of the Board of Directors for Foothills Industry and a member of the Gideon’s International. He is a member of Bear Creek Baptist Church.
Beth M. Willis
Client Services Representative
Beth M. Willis graduated with an Associate degree in Executive Secretary from Mayland Tech . She worked in the banking industry for NCNB and Baxter Credit Union over 15 years as well as with the McDowell County School system for over 15 years. Beth is a member of Bear Creek Baptist Church.
