Jamie Miller
Certified Public Accountant
Jamie Miller is a Spruce Pine native who received his Bachelor ‘s Degree in Accounting and Business Management from Western Carolina University in May, 2001. He is married to the former Jennifer Ray of Marion. They are the proud parents of two sons, Brody and Bryce. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs as well as the North Carolina Association of CPAs. Jamie is an active member of Mitchell Baptist Church, and is active in several other organizations in the community. Jamie played football at WCU, where he was a four-year letterman. He enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and is a huge Tar Heels fan.
Mitchell Blevins
Client services Representative
Mitchell Blevins is a Spruce Pine native who will complete his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Appalachian State University in December, 2024. Mitchell worked part time with the firm during his college years, and will begin full time with the firm in January, 2025. He handles income tax preparation, payroll, and bookkeeping for the firm. Mitchel is the son of Dale & Valerie Blevins.
Erica Burleson
Payroll Manager
Erica Burleson serves as the Payroll Manager at the Spruce Pine office, bringing over 15 years of experience in accounting and public services. She began her career in healthcare after earning an Associate degree in Medical Assisting in 2007. Through her years of experience as a CMA she developed a broad skill set, handling both administrative and clinical responsibilities. She joined the firm in July of 2009 and manages payroll operations, income tax preparation, general bookkeeping services and other administrative tasks. She is committed to providing outstanding service and using her expertise to assist clients effectively. Outside of work, she is married to Dustin Burleson, and they live in Spruce Pine with their two sons, Maddox and Jaxton, along with their dog, Ozzie. She enjoys outdoor activities, especially hiking. She is a member of Mitchell Baptist Church and engages with the community through roles within Mitchell County Schools such as school improvement team and the PTO.
Cadee Warren
Client Services Representative
Cadee Warren joined the firm full time in May, 2024, after graduating summa cum laude from East Tennessee State University with degrees in Accounting and Finance. At ETSU, she was a member of the Roan Scholars Leadership Program, Alpha Delta Pi, and the Student Government Association. The Spruce Pine native is currently working towards obtaining her CPA license. She is engaged to Ty Pitman, also of Spruce Pine, and has a mini goldendoodle named Goose.
Danny Willis
Client Services Representative
Danny Willis has been with the firm full time since 2012. The Marion native is a graduate of the University of North Carolina – Asheville with a B.A degree in Economics of Money and Banking. He has worked for Baxter Healthcare for over 37 years in the areas of manufacturing, finance as a controller and a Business Consultant for manufacturing systems. He was the project lead for the global manufacturing ERP implementations for Baxter manufacturing facilities. Danny served on the McDowell County Board of Education for 12 years and 6 of those years as Chairman of the Board. He retired as a volunteer fireman from the Marion Fire Department with over 22 years of service. He is a member of the Board of Directors for Foothills Industry, a member of the Gideon’s International and serves on the board of Child Evangelism Fellowship(CEF). He is a member of Mitchell Baptist Church. Danny is married to Beth Willis and they reside in the Pleasant Gardens community in McDowell County.

Beth M. Willis has been with the firm since 2013. The Spruce Pine native graduated with an Associate degree in Executive Secretary from Mayland Tech. She worked in the banking industry for NCNC and Baxter Credit Union over 15 years as well as with the McDowell County School system for over 15 years. Beth is a member of Mitchell Baptist Church. Beth is married to Danny Willis and they reside in the Pleasant Gardens community in McDowell County.
